Our ministries exist to support local churches in evangelism and discipleship. We come alongside churches in ministry with children, youth, and adults, and in global missions and compassion.
Together, we help congregations nurture faith at every stage of life and live out the gospel through prayer, service, and witness.
DISTRICT COMPASSION MINISTRIES
Across our district, churches and ministry partners are serving their communities through a wide range of compassion ministries. From food programs and thrift stores to newcomer support and crisis care, these ministries demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways while creating opportunities to build relationships and share the hope of the Gospel.
Each ministry reflects the unique needs of its community, but all share a common desire to care for people with dignity and compassion. We encourage you to learn more about these ministries, pray for their work, and consider how you or your church might become involved.
MANATIAL NEIGHBOURHOOD SERVICES
Manantial Neighbourhood Services Inc. (MNSI) is a charitable organization serving primarily Latin American newcomers in Toronto's Downsview area and south Vaughan. Through settlement support, crisis intervention, and leadership development, MNSI helps individuals and families build confidence, connect with their community, and thrive. Programs are offered in both English and Spanish.
THE GIVING CLOSET
The Giving Closet Thrift Shop is a community ministry of Crown Point Community Church in Hamilton. Since opening in 2018, it has provided affordable clothing and household goods while using store proceeds to meet local needs and support community organizations. Through generous donations, volunteers, and shoppers, The Giving Closet creates a welcoming space where giving is at the heart of everything it does.
